13.10.2008 President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev met with tennis players

Today in Kremlin the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev met with a group of Russian tennis players – Elena Dementieva, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Dinara Safina, Elena Vesnina, Vera Zvonareva, Marat Safin, Dmitry Tursunov and Igor Kunitsyn.The President of RTF, Captain of men’s and women’s national teams Shamil Tarpishev also attended the meeting with a Head of State.
Dmitry Medvedev noted outstanding achievements of last years of Russian tennis players, particularly a brilliant success of tennis players at the Olympic games in Beijing. The President also noted Igor Kunitsyn’s victory at Kremlin Cup.
